The Clark's Chaotic World

Well it’s summertime.  Woohoo!  Noah is now getting 2 days a week of ABA therapy.  Totaling up to 5 hours per week.  He also get 45 minutes of developmental therapy through ECI per week.  He just started receiving speech therapy through ECI twice a month.  So he’s a pretty busy guy now.  We have already seen progress with his ABA.  Sarah is doing an AMAZING job with him.  We are going to try to get Coty into a social skills therapy group.  His developmental pediatrician recommended it and he is also working with a psychologist to get it going this summer.  I think it would really help Coty out.  Kourtnie is doing Tier 2 this summer.  She didn’t pass a couple of classes so hopefully she can make that up this summer.  Emma is still loving her PPCD class at the elementary school.  Thats about all for now.  Hopefully I won’t wait so long to update this thing.  LOL

Well Noah is having a bad day today.  His temper has been flaring up more today.  He’s tried to hit me a few times, threw his cup a couple times, and threw his lunch on the floor.  Oh and he also got mad and hit his head on the coffee table.  Never seen this side of him before.  I just hope these aren’t things he’s going to be doing on a regular basis.

Wow!  Ok so hasnt been the best around here since last night.  And now Coty is grounded again.  He was playing around and accidentally hit Emma in the nose.  Instead of saying I’m sorry it was an accident, he kept saying Garritt did it.   Since he kept lying about it, he got grounded.  Of course he insists that he would’ve been grounded either way which isn’t true.  He’s been complaining, slamming, giving evil looks, and of course, saying how much he doesn’t like it here.  Calgon take me away!!!

I am so NOT a cold weather person.  I know it could be colder but still.  Plus is raining.  UGH!!!  On a good note, Coty was actually fully dressed within 20 this morning!!!!!!!!  OMG that is huge.  I wish he could do this every morning.

So yesterday Noah had his evaluation with ECI.  They came to the house and was probably here about an hour and a half.  He will start therapy with them next week I believe.  He should be getting speech and occupational therapies with them.  I am still working on finding ABA therapy for him.  Coty went for a meds check with Dr. Rios yesterday as well.  He up’d his seroquel to 200mg.  He is currently on vyvance for adhd, luvox for anxiety, seroquel for ocd and sleep, and then another pill to help increase his appetite.  Poor guy.

Today I had two doctor appts.  First was my super fun female exam with Dr. Jordan.  Everything was fine there.  Next was a physical with Dr. Aronoff.  I walked out with like 7 prescriptions.  Geesh!  Allergies, tension headache, neck pain due to tension, antidepressants, rosesia.  Just shoot me now.  LOL

Okay I finally have this thing where I want it and will start making alot more entries.

So far this morning has been pretty darn good.  Coty actually woke up in a good mood and got ready in time.  First time this week.  There was no arguing or yelling or anything.  I wish every morning could be like this.  We will see what the rest of the day brings.

Tomorrow, ECI will be here to evaluate Noah.  They are supposed to show up at 8:30.  So that means no going back to sleep in the morning for me after the kids leave.  Oh well.  Noah comes before sleep.

Ok so I will eventually be getting this up and going.  But how fast that will happen will depend on when Josh is gracious enough to help me do it.  So please be patient during this time of nothing really here to look at…LOL.
